Welcome to TIWIL. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the app.
1. Eligibility & Account Registration
Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use TIWIL. During family profile setup, our system enforces a validation rule requiring parents to be at least 31 years old and ensuring a minimum 18-year age gap between the user and their parents.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, whether verified through OTP or social login, and for all activities that occur under your account.
2. User Conduct & Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purposes.
You agree not to spam other users, create fake events, engage in harassment, or use offensive language.
When uploading photos, you must ensure they do not contain objectionable, offensive, or copyrighted material without permission. TIWIL reserves the right to remove such content and suspend associated accounts.
Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, including event details, wishlist items, and family photos.
TIWIL maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, including but not limited to abusive, defamatory, or explicit material. We reserve the right to remove any content and permanently suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
Users may flag inappropriate content using the in-app reporting tools.
3. Events, Wishlists, and Contribution Pools
Platform Role
TIWIL serves solely as a platform to facilitate event planning, wishlist creation, and group gifting coordination. We are not the seller, merchant, payment processor, or fulfillment provider for any wishlist items.
Pool Contributions
Contribution pools are used for coordination and tracking purposes only. Any actual payment, transfer, settlement, or refund takes place externally between users and outside the TIWIL application.
Financial Disclaimer
TIWIL does not transfer, process, hold, escrow, or manage funds within the application. TIWIL is not responsible for unpaid commitments, disputes over funds, external payment failures, refunds, or the fulfillment of promises made by users within a pool.
4. Intellectual Property
All app design, logos, graphics, source code, branding, and related materials are the exclusive property of TIWIL. Copying, modifying, distributing, or using this material without explicit written permission is strictly prohibited.
5. Account Termination
TIWIL reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account without prior notice if you violate these Terms of Use.
You may voluntarily terminate your account at any time through the Profile settings within the app.
6. Limitation of Liability
The TIWIL app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not legally liable for technical glitches, temporary downtime, data loss, third-party service failures, external payment disputes, or third-party payment processing failures.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through app notifications, email, or other appropriate means.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mohali, Punjab.
